Guests will enjoy a cooking experience at Beet, learning to prepare Iraqi dishes such as lentil soup, Badhinjania (eggplant salad), Al-Qeema Al-Najafiya, falafel, and Halava Tamer (date dessert with sesame and tahini), paired with Iraqi tea infused with cardamom.
The evening continues with Chalghi Baghdadi music, showcasing the soulful melodies of the Iraqi maqam tradition, performed with instruments like the oud and santur. Attendees will also participate in Al-Muhibis, a traditional game of wit and observation. This event offers an immersive journey into the rich heritage of Iraq.
