A wonderful experience
Starting with what's known as "the best cannole in Sicily", we ventured out into an excursions of remote sceneries, museums, wine and salt; finishing at the hot springs where after a short hike, we chilled.
Personally, I've always enjoyed the activities Beet Community organises, mainly because it's nice people, hanging out, doing fun stuff. But...
What was interesting to me about this excursion in particular, was learning about the salt mines, it's history and process. It's crazy the time and steps that go into filtering salt. We use it all the time, yet easily understimate the depth of it's world.
If you are curious to explore some of Sicily's secrets from a local's perspective and with the comforts of a car, I'd highly recommend.
A wonderful Sunday with special sights and the beautiful wonder of the beach of Scala dei Turchi. The group present Made it even more valuable.

A big day full of highlights ☀️
A day with a great group and a great rhythm for a Sunday. Marco had planned numerous stops for everyone's tastes: incredible viewpoints, walks, breaks in small typical cafés or to discover local specialties... the day went at the group's pace, we had good laughs, and the highlight of the day was the hot springs adventure!! Yes...it was quite an adventure to get there, which gives it all its charm. And thisbis truly a unique experience!! I loved it !! If you haven't tried it yet, don't miss the next meeting!!!
