Explore the fantastic scents of the Mediterranean Forest near Bosco del Cappelliere at the Oriented Nature Reserve of Bosco della Ficuzza, Rocca Busambra, Bosco del Cappelliere, and Gorgo del Drago will take place.
The trail winds along a forest path in Vallone Arciera, surrounded by a picturesque canyon with wild vines, ferns, and endemics of this unique place, giving a sense of immersion in greenery. But it doesn’t end here; we’ll leave the main trail to take a narrow natural path to begin ascending into less traveled environments. We’ll reach one of the gentle peaks of this place, and before us, the beauty of Rocca Busambra and Bosco della Ficuzza will stand out. We’ll descend along a muddy path (if possible, bring trekking poles, high-necked trekking shoes, and spare clothes!). Changing slopes, the forest will change its appearance, making way for pine forests.
